Dennis S. Faulkner
Mr. Faulkner has more than 30 years of accounting and management experience in bankruptcy and litigation services. He has also advised troubled companies on strategic, financial and operational matters. Mr. Faulkner demonstrates great finesse in addressing complex financial and accounting issues arising in bankruptcy, dispute resolution and litigation support engagements by gathering and analyzing data, relating key findings to client needs, explaining conclusions clearly and concisely and, when appropriate, facilitating solutions.
Mr. Faulkner has assisted in the formulation and review of reorganization plans, preparation of financial projections, asset liquidation administration and analysis of claims, and forensic accounting, including the tracing of assets. He has individually served as examiner, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustee, and as post-confirmation trustee in a variety of engagements. His work in litigation services encompasses accounting investigations and expert witness testimony. As a business advisor, Mr. Faulkner has performed strategic planning, crisis management, operational reviews, and day-to-day operations administration.
Mr. Faulkner is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner with related memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. Paul C. French, III
Mr. French has comprehensive expertise in forensic examinations, business valuations, litigation support and small business consulting. With over 30 years of experience in industry and public practice, Mr. French has testified as a financial expert or business appraiser in Federal and State Courts and in arbitrations.
His litigation support engagements include solvency, fraudulent transfers, cram down interest rates, professional malpractice, shareholder oppression, lost profits, business valuation, tracing, financial misconduct, mediation and settlement support, and consulting and testifying expert witness engagements. He is a past chairman of the Executive Advisory Board of the 6,500+ member National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and of the 15,000+ member Texas Society of Certified Public Accountant’s statewide Business Valuations, Forensic and Litigation Services Committee.
Mr. French currently holds 14 professional certifications focused primarily in the areas of forensics and valuation. Mr. French is one of less than 100 individuals nationwide who have earned the Accredited in Business Appraisal Review designation from the Institute of Business Appraisers and the Certification in Distressed Business Valuation from the Association of Insolvency and Reorganization Advisors. He was the recipient of NACVA’s 2004 Jeffrey Salins’ report writing award. In 2008, he was one of seven individuals selected from the 6,500+ membership to rewrite the professional and valuation standards of NACVA.

D. Keith Enger
Mr. Enger is an experienced accountant and business advisor with more than 30 years of experience in industry and public practice. His primary role at LainFaulkner has been the development of processes related to bankruptcy compliance, including pre-bankruptcy financial planning, preparation of Statements of Financial Affairs and Debtor’s Schedules, operating reports, liquidation analysis, projections and historical financial statements. Additionally, Mr. Enger has served as Plan Trustee or Distribution Agent in several bankruptcy cases, overseeing the claims resolution process and negotiating settlements with creditors to maximize overall recovery to claimants.
Mr. Enger also consults on tax and financial reporting matters. He manages the planning, preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, claims for income tax refunds both in bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy matters, and specialized analysis and tax research. In addition, Mr. Enger is highly effective in settling tax claims with the IRS, state and local taxing authorities. Outside of public accounting, Mr. Enger is knowledgeable on matters related to the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Enger is a Certified Public Accountant with related memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.

Jason A. Rae
Mr. Rae is a forensic accountant with approximately 20 years of experience in industry and public practice. He has extensive experience in all phases of bankruptcy accounting including pre-bankruptcy financial planning, preparation of Bankruptcy Schedules and Statements of Financial Affairs, preparation of operating reports, financial modeling, and assistance with formulation and review of plans of reorganization. Additionally, Mr. Rae’s practice frequently includes the performance of forensic accounting investigations, cash and asset tracings, preference and fraudulent transfer analysis, claims analysis, valuation analysis and damage analysis. His work has been performed on behalf of debtors, creditors, equity constituents and trustees or fiduciaries in numerous industries. Mr. Rae often serves as the lead shareholder in charge representing the firm in its role as accountants or financial advisors for fiduciaries and has himself worked in a receiver capacity and as a trustee.
Before joining LainFaulkner, Mr. Rae worked with an international accounting firm in the internal audit consulting group where he worked on financial, operational, internal control and due diligence. Mr. Rae gained extensive experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting and data mining using computer assisted audit tools. Mr. Rae began his career as an accountant with a Fortune 100 company in Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Rae is a Certified Public Accountant, Master Analyst of Financial Forensics and a Certified Fraud Examiner with related memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Certified Valuators and Analyst and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Mr. Rae holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.

D. Brian Crisp
Mr. Crisp has more than 28 years of experience in bankruptcy matters, forensic accounting and litigation services, public practice and industry. His practice at LainFaulkner is primarily focused on analyzing preference and fraudulent transfers on behalf of debtors and creditors and providing forensic accounting and litigation services.
Mr. Crisp’s has over 14 years of experience in bankruptcy matters including preference and fraudulent transfer analyses, assistance in formulation and review of plans of reorganization, claims analysis and administration, asset liquidations, preparing operating reports and financial projections. Additionally, Mr. Crisp has experience in the administration of post-confirmation trusts and has served as the Liquidation Agent for an oil and gas entity. Mr. Crisp has performed numerous forensic accounting investigations related to litigation and/or bankruptcy in various industries.
Mr. Crisp has experience in both public practice and industry. In public practice, he provided audit and business consulting services in numerous industries with two national accounting firms. Mr. Crisp’s industry experience includes Controller and Chief Accounting Officer positions in the real estate, entertainment and oil & gas industries.

Mr. Bielitz has more than 23 years of experience in accounting concentrating in the area of taxation. He has worked in both public accounting and corporate tax accounting spanning a wide range of industries including hospitality, oil and gas, real estate and retail. Additionally, Mr. Bielitz supervises LainFaulkner’s tax support staff.
Prior to joining LainFaulkner, Mr. Bielitz worked with the FDIC in the preparation of tax returns for various insolvent banks. He served as a teaching assistant in the accounting department at the University of Texas in Austin while in pursuit of his Master’s degree.
Mr. Bielitz is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University, Shreveport and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas, Austin.

Mr. Shaw has more than 40 years of tax and audit experience in public practice and banking, Jim provides numerous accounting, bookkeeping, and consulting services on behalf of trustees, receivers, examiners, professionals and closely held family business which include:

Jim has extensive experience in preparation of tax returns for all entity types including profit, non-profit, estate, and trust tax returns. Jim also has experience in state returns including both franchise, and tax returns for multi-state clients.
Prior to joining LainFaulkner, Jim was a senior partner for over 23 years with Litzler, Segner, Shaw & McKenney, LLP (LSSM) and oversaw all tax and compliance filings. LSSM was an accounting and consulting firm which had handled thousands of bankruptcy cases, and numerous court appointments and was founded over 40 years ago. Prior to that Jim served as a Partner in charge of the Dallas office of a regional accounting firm, and as a Vice President and Internal Auditor of a national bank in the Dallas area. He was also a joint interest auditor and contracted with the FDIC and preformed audits of oil and gas related activities.
Jim received his degree from Midwestern State University (B.B.A. magna cum laude) in 1978. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Texas, and is a Chartered Global Managerial Accountant. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and is also a member of the Texas Society of Public Accountants and the Dallas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. McCullough has more than 30 years of experience in public practice and industry. He currently focuses his attention on providing accounting and consulting services on behalf of trustees, receivers, debtors and creditors which includes:

- Preference and fraudulent transfer analysis

Additionally, Kelly has served as trustee for liquidating and litigation trusts and as state court receiver. Kelly has extensive financial, accounting and operational experience in wide range of industries including telecommunications, transportation, insurance and food services.
Kelly comes to LainFaulkner from Litzler, Segner, Shaw & McKenney, LLP (LSSM), a firm that also provided bankruptcy and litigation services. As a partner at LSSM, Kelly has worked on bankruptcies, receiverships and special engagements since joining LSSM in 2008. Prior to that Kelly served as Director of Finance for an international transportation company, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for a Fortune 500 telecom company and started his career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).
Kelly received his MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas and his BBA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Texas, and is a Certified Global Management Accountant, a Certified Turnaround Professional and a Certified Valuation Analyst. Kelly is also credentialed in Certified Financial Forensics with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
